Mrs. Mary E. Clever, 79, of 35 North Canal Street, Natrona, died today, May 13, 1948, at 12:05 a.m. in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Kileen of Natrona. She has been ill for the past few days. Mrs. Clever, who was the wife of J. Mark Clever, was born in Armstrong County. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Suzanne (Wilt) McGregor, both of Armstrong County. She lived most of her life in the Natrona-Tarentum area. She was a member of the Natrona Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Natrona Veterans of Foreign Wars post. She is survived by her husband, three sons: Lawrence, Natrona Heights, Wallace, East Liberty, Robert, Natrona and two daughters, Mrs. Helen Itchek, Tarentum, and Mrs. Kileen of Natrona. nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. J.B. Cunningham of Sarver, R.D also survive. Friends are being received at the Ferver Funeral Home, Fourth and Woods Streets, Tarentum. Services will be held there Saturday at 3 p.m. with her pastor Rev. Francis G. Stewart in charge. Burial will be made in Mt. Airy Cemetery.
