Tinie lived most of her life in Newton County but moved to Houston, Tx. after the death of her husband in 1952. She remained in Tx. for several years before living with her daughter in Hueytown, Ala. where she remained until her death. She was survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She help raise a grandson Jimmy who was like a son to her.
