Ernest E. Daugherty, 80, of California and formerly of Lafayette, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Los Angeles.
He was born April 11, 1929 in Muncie to Ernest and Esla Simpson Daugherty. On Oct. 16, 1954, he married Mary Howell in Iuca, Mississippi and she survives.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Mark Daugherty of Lafayette; a daughter, Pamela Daugherty of Tijuana, Baja California; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
