Gordon Ronald Rawn died at Claremont General Hospital in Claremont, NH on October 19, 1976 after a brief illness. He was born on January 7, 1924 in Neenah, WI; the son of Gilbert and Ellen (Peterson) Rawn.

He had resided in Claremont for the past forty eight years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post No 29, and a member of the Claremont Country Club. He was an employee of the Cone Blanchard Machine Co of Windsor, VT where he was chief industrial engineer for thirteen years.

He married Theresa Potvin on July 3, 1948 in Claremont.

Survivors include his wife; his stepmother Carrie Rawn of Claremont; two brother Harris Rawn of Exeter, NH and Willard Rawn of Middleboro, MA; and two stepbrothers Harold Bourgoine and Robert Bourgoine both of Claremont.

Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
