Jason "Jay" Andrew Dunder, 1930 N. Water Ave., Hermitage, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. He was 32.

Mr. Dunder was born June 13, 1974, in Sharon to Michael J. Dunder III and Ruthann August Dunder of Sharpsville.
He graduated in 1992 from Sharpsville Area High School and was a graduate of Mercer County Area Vocational-Technical School.

Jay was a self-employed carpenter, working with his father at Mike Dunder Construction, and his uncle at Rick Dunder Construction.

Jay was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed classic cars and NASCAR racing, and liked to hunt.
He was a loving father to his 10-year old son, Andrew, of Hermitage.

Jay was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. He was a loving son and brother.
Surviving besides his son and his parents are: two sisters, Rebekah Eckles and her companion, Curt Gearhart; and Sara Salvatore and her husband Eric, all Sharpsville; a brother, Michael G. Dunder and his companion, Shannon Beatty, Hermitage; his paternal grandmother, E. Louise Dunder, Sharpsville; a niece and four nephews; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jay was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Hazel August; and his paternal grandfather, Michael Dunder Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to a fund arranged for Jay's son, Andrew Dunder, through First National Bank, Hermitage Square Office, 3320 E. State St., Hermitage 16148.
