Thursday morning of last week the body of Leon Bardeen was found lying in Mrs. F. F. Thompson's wood northeast of Canandaigua village. The coroner's inquest revealed the fact that he had ended his life by taking strichnine. No cause can be ascribed for the act, as he was a young man of good habits, and industrious. His age was twenty-five years. Leon was the son of Cyrus G. Bardeen, who, with one son, Frank, of Bath, survives. The remains were brought to Naples, his former home, and on Sunday funeral services were held from the Italy-Naples county line church. Interment in the nearby cemetery.
