Nancy Ann was born 4/27/1901, at Reardan, WA, the daughter of John Wesley and Mary Ann Bertholf. The family lived at Fraser, Idaho, for a short time before moving to Spokane, where she attended the Good Shepherd School. She married Corneal Charles Linehan September 28, 1916, at Colfax, WA. He died Nov. 8, 1951.

On September 27, 1952, she married Lewis Haynes at Clarkston, WA. He died Dec. 8, 1974.

She and her husband Corneal farmed three miles north of Pullman, WA, prior to moving to Tekoa, WA, in 1918. In 1923 they moved to Palouse, and in 1931 to Moscow, Idaho. From 1942 to 1943 they lived at Portland, OR. She was a resident of Pullman since 1943.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Pullman and was a member of the Pullman Senior Center and of the Pullman Women of the Moose for more than 40 years.
