Frances L. Spann, 71, died Friday at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was the former Frances L. Arnold, a former employee of B&K Printing Co. in Louisville and a member of Colgate Baptist Church. Survivors: her husband, Williard D. Spann; sons Bill, Steven, Kenneth and Louis W. Williams; a sister, Ella Mae Dailey; and brothers Eugene Jr., Jackie, Norman, Robert and Dallas Arnold. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, Coots, Jeffersonville. Burial: Kraft-Graceland Memorial, New Albany. Visitation: 1-9 p.m. Sunday.

Frances L. Spann, 71, Floyds Knobs, passed away Friday, January 22, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, IN. A native of New Albany, born July 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Van Brunt Arnold. She was a former employee of B&K Printing Co. in Louisville and Kentucky Fried Chicken, and was a member of Colgate Baptist Church in Clarksville, IN. Survivors include her husband, Williard D. Spain; four sons, William D. Spann of Floyds Knobs, Steven Williams of Charlestown, Louis W. Williams of New Albany, and Kenny Williams; five brothers, Eugene Arnold Jr. of Floyds Knobs, Jackie Arnold of Clarksville, Norman Arnold of Steveson, AL, Robert Arnold of Compton, and Dallas Arnold of New Albany; and a sister, Ella Mae Dailey of New Albany; The funeral was Monday, January 25, at Coots Funeral Home in Jeffersonville with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. The Reverand James Bullock officated.
