Funeral services for former Seminole County resident Irene L. (Stewart) Addington are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Little Cemetery under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home of Midwest City. The Midwest City resident died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at the age of 82.
Addington was born on April 1, 1919 in Prague to Tim and Alice (Williams) Stewart.
She grew up in the Prague and Seminole areas. She attended school at Prairie Valley. Addington moved to Midwest City in 1949.
She married James Addington of Feb. 6, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas.
Addington was a member of the Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband, James, of the home. Addington was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers,
Tim,
Fred,
Silas,
Orville,
and Grady Stewart;
three sisters, Bobbie Hinson,
Verna Hubbard,
and Ida Martin.
