Mrs. Margaret Goodman died Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock after an illness of two weeks. The remains were interred at the cemetery at Friendship yesterday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. A.H. Autry. The deceased was 73 years of age and had been a resident of this section for many years. She was the widow of the late J.D. Goodman who died some seventeen years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was highly esteemed by all. She leaves six sons and three daughters, besides numerous grand-children and to them The News tenders sympathy.
