William C. was the son of Jess and Frances Westfall. He entered the United States Navy in 1961 where he served honorable for 20 years retiring as Chief Petty Officer. In 1977 he married Sherry Somes Christiansen and they resided in Wiscasset. Mr. Westfall was employed at Bath Iron Works as assistant dock master. He was later employed at Lester Morse's Auto Sales in Wiscasset as manager and car salesman.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his 1961 GMC pickup.
