Marshall Mountain Wave~Nov 29, 1902~Died-Roy Boyd, son of William Boyd of the Cove, died at his home near Leslie, on Tues., the 24th inst., after an illness of some 35 days of slow fever, at the age of 21 years. He leaves a wife and one child to mourn his death. Mrs. Boyd's maiden name was Miss Roxie Daniel, daughter of Mr and Mrs W.P. Daniel. The deceased was an exceptionally bright, industrious and promising young man and was the business manager of the Leslie Roller Mill. The remains were interred in the Leslie Cemetery Wednesday. The Wave extends sympathy to the bereaved ones in their loss.
