Annie Ruth Calvert, age 84, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She is survived by her nephews, Blanton Calvert of Westmoreland, Mike Rippy of Bethpage, Ray Dorris of Gallatin, Roger Dorris of Gallatin; niece, Delilah Troutman of Bethpage.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pasley Odell and Laura Elizabeth Claiborn Rippy; husband, Denver C. Calvert; brothers, Woodrow and Edwin Rippy; sister, Addie Dorris.
Visitation is 11 a.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2009, and 9 a.m., until service time Wednesday. Funeral service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2009, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Buckta and Bro. Donald Key officiating.
Interment is at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. Calvert retired from Genesco Shoe Manufacturing. She was a member of Gallatin Free Methodist Church.
