Woodrow W. Bonnett died in the Armstrong County Hospital on Wednesday, July 23, 1941 at 11:10 a.m. following a short illness. Mr. Bonnett was born May 2, 1883 near Rimersburg, Clarion County. He had been a resident of Kittanning for the past 13 years. About one month ago, he moved to Ravenna, OH to work at the Ravenna Ordinance Depot and was able to continue at his work until Saturday July 19. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie (Bole) Bonnett, one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Wick of Brackenridge, three sons, Dennis of Tarentum, Loren of Kittanning, and Marion of Ravenna, OH and four grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. J. S. Fisher and Mrs. Carl Wise both of Leechburg and Mrs. J.V. Marshall, Templeton, and two brothers, Arland of Widnoon and Raymond of Kittanning. Friends may call at the Loren Bonnett residence on old route 422 through West Kittanning where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Further services in charge of his pastor, Rev. L.O. Douds, will be held in the Union Avenue Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the family plot in Kittanning Cemetery.
