Edgar Wingo Campbell, age 86, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Gateway Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be held 12 noon, Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Paul Bunger officiating. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

Mr. Campbell was born July 13, 1923 in Skullbone, TN, Gibson County, son of Edgar W. and Opal Wingo Campbell. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II; retired from the Trane Company; a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church where he was Deacon Emeritus; a graduate of Union University, Jackson, TN and a charter member of the St. Bethlehem Civitan Club.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Angie Watt Campbell of Clarksville; sons, Barry Campbell of Cleveland, MS, Kelly (Carmen) Campbell of Parsons, TN and Charles (Dana) Campbell of Hendersonville, TN; daughters, Donna (Phillip) Berry of Clarksville and Linda (Doug) Mercier of Senatobia, MS; sister, Edna Bradbury of Medina, TN; eleven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Al Rymer, Kurt Hamm, Mike Kennedy, Mike Kenner, Eli Mayers and Barry Cunningham.
