MULL, Rosemary H. "Rosie", 91, of Brilliant, Ohio, passed away Thursday March 11, 2010, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born June 21, 1918, in East Palestine, Ohio, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary C. (Naughton) Hennessy.

Rosie was a stenographer for the railroad. She then owned the former Mull's Shell Service in Mingo with her husband Charles.

Rosemary was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo; the Mingo Senior Citizens Club; the Wells Twp. Senior Citizens Club; the St. Agnes Catholic Womens Club; the St. Francis Society at St. Agnes, where she was a former secretary; the Brilliant Book Club; and she was a member of various card clubs in the Ohio Valley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Mull on Aug. 9, 1977; and two sisters, Margaret Smith and Eileen Behringer.

Surviving are her son, Joe (Sharon) Mull of Gallion, Ohio; five grandchildren, Elicia (Jeremy) Pittenger, Chuck (Melissa) Mull, Michael (Ashley) Mull, Steven Mull and Daniel Mull; six great-grandchildren, Clayton, Wyatt, Katie, Noah, Carter and Halie; two nephews, Dave (Barb) Smith of Columbus and Patrick Smith of Columbus; two great-nephews, Sean and Danny and three great-nieces, Erin, Megan and Molly.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant. On Tuesday Rosemary will lay in State at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass with Liturgy at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee and Fr. Timothy McGuire, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc. 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.

There will be a Vigil service on Monday at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
