RUEPKE

Herman William Ruepke, son of Carl and Amelia Ruepke, was born in Lyons, Ill., June 2, 1890, and passed away at his home in Chariton, Sept. 23, 1961, at the age of 71 years, three months and 26 days.

On Nov. 6, 1915, at Trenton, Mo., he was united in marriage to Nellie King. To this union was born one son, Harold.

He received Christ as his Savior a few years ago.

He leaves his wife, Nellie, his son, Harold and wife Barbara and their seven children, one adopted daughter, Betty Lou Brown, her husband Robert and two children, and step-daughter, Beatrice Hendricks and her husband Cecil; one brother, Charley, of Dallas, Ore.; three sisters, Minnie Pleva and Freda Abramowske, both of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Amy Dooley of New York. Also a number of nieces and nephews.

His friends were many.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Oct. 1, 1961, at the Beardsley Funeral Home. The Rev. P. H. Blunt officiated. Interment was in the Chariton cemetery.
