HUNGATE--Samuel C. Hungate died of typhoid fever, in this city, Monday night last, at 11 o'clock.

The deceased was a brother of J. H. Hungate, formerly circuit clerk of this county. A few days since he was taken sick with typhoid fever, but up to noon of the day of his death, was not considered dangerous; hemorage [sic] of the bowels coming on, however, he died as above stated. His remains were taken to Blandinville [sic] and burried [sic] yesterday. He was about 27 years of age.
