Dorothy Louise Ward Burgess born August 14,1932. daughter of John and Cecil Ward passed was Tuesday, May 12, 2009. She resided in Beggs, Ok. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years Michael Washington Burgess, she also leaves behind 4 children Michelle D. Sumner, Michael L Burgess Jr. , DeWanda A Johnston and Jennifer Renee "Burgess" . She has 2 son-n-laws , Joe Sumner and Doug K Johnston. She also has 6 grandchildren Tammy VanDorn, John and Jimmy Sumner, Michael Burgess Jr. and Cassie Johnston, she is preceded in death by a grandchild, Robert Bowen. Dorothy also had 2 great -great grandchildren and one on the way. Dorothy was involved in Square Dancing "Levis and Lace Square Dance Club in Collinsville, Ok. with her husband Mike who was also the Caller of the club. Dorothy fished with Mike whenever they could, She will be greatly missed by all of us. Services
was held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009. Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
