KING, , Wilmer Bruce, 66, a resident of Notasulga, AL, died Friday, April 20, 1984, 7:20 p.m. at the East Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. from Corbitt's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. Interment will be held in Notasulga Memory Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie T. King, Notasulga, Al; two sons, William Bruce King, Baton Rouge, La., Calvin Leon King, Phenix City, AL: one daughter, Edna E. Patterson, Notasulga, AL; seven grandchildren; one brother, Winfred W. King. Montgomery, AL; one sister, Nettie W. Thompson, Troy, AL; two uncles, Robert P. King, Notasulga, AL, and Dewey Dewitt King, Reitown, AL; three aunts, Elouise King, Notasulga, AL, Gertrude Fincher, Montgomery, AL, Alice Bridgeman, Notasulga, AL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. King was a graduate of the Alabama Police Academy, served with Notasulga Police Department, and also the Auburn University Police Department. He was a veteran of World War II, in the Navy, and a lifelong resident of Notasulga, AL.
