Sadie of Hutchinson, KS when she married Hal at All Saints Episcopal Church in Denver. Sadie 'was prominent in club and social activities'. She'd been in failing health for four and a half years before her death. 'She'd been a popular resident of Boulder since Feb 1900' She and Hal met in the late 1890's when Sadie was head milliner of Golden Rule Store. She left Boulder and returned to Hutchinson, KS. She and Hal built their home at 2230 6th St soon after their marriage. Many women's groups met there over the years. She was very active on the auxilliary of the Elks. Hal 'is the widely known successful photographer.' She was survived by her husband Hal and son Harry S. Coulson, sister Mrs. Bessie Swander and Mrs. Lillian Phillips and two grandchildren Hal R. and Jerry E. Coulson.
