Minnie C. A. Anderson was born June 5, 1891 at Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin, the youngest of seven children born to Nels John and Inger Kirstine Anderson.

Minnie married Leo Hammersmith and they settled in the town of Baileys Harbor, where their four children were born. Minnie died on May 6, 1918 of complications of childbirth.


LIBERTY GROVE WOMAN DIES-
Mrs. Leo Hammersmith, aged 26 years, died Monday from the effects of child birth, the babe being living and doing well. The family live on a farm about five miles north of Baileys Harbor. She leaves the husband and four children. The funeral will be held from the Baileys Harbor church today (Thursday).
