In other affidavits connected with this pension application process she is referred to as the the widow of Joseph Allison so for reference purposes she was Deborah Ann Cain Allison Stewart.

Newport, Ind., Dec 22, Mrs Ann Stewart died suddenly of lung fever at her home on Extension Street Thursday, at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Stewart was one of the foremost old ladies of this place and had been Ill only a few days. She was the widow of the late Charles Stewart. The funeral will be held Sunday at the home.
