Rose Marie Temple, 40, of Norfolk, Virginia, died Tuesday evening December 2, 2008, after being hospitalized for two and a half weeks following a brain aneurysm.

Rose was born to Leonard and Betty (Haller) Borho on December 19, 1967, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the oldest of their five children. The family lived in Texas, Virginia and North Carolina since Leonard was a career Navy man. When Leonard retired from the Navy in 1984, the family moved to Red Cloud, Nebraska, where Rose attended Red Cloud High School during her junior year.

Rose was married to Frederick Scott Temple on May 25, 1985, at the First United Methodist Church in Red Cloud. They lived in Virginia where Rose completed her senior year of high school graduating from Kempsville High School with the class of 1986.

Rose was a talented seamstress and craft person. She and her husband Scott looked forward to their yearly visit back to Red Cloud to visit Grandma Haller, other family members and friends. One of the highlights for Rose was stopping at the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, Missouri. Rose was an avid collector of Precious Moments items.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Betty; brother, Franz Joseph; grandparents, Joseph and Rose Haller; and grandfather, Frank Borho.

Survivors include her husband, Scott of Norfolk, Virginia; father, Leonard of St. Meinrad, Indiana; sisters, Frances Borho of Lakewood, New Jersey, Theresa Borho of St. Meinrad, Indiana, and Michelle (Madan) Bhattarai of Omaha; niece Trisha Bhattarai; grandmother, Frances Borho of St. Meinrad, Indiana; other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at a later date with burial in the St. Meinrad Indiana Cemetery where her mother and brother are buried.
