Mrs. Borders was born in Delhi, Illinois to George Seago and Edna Renfro Seago. She married Paul Vernon Borders January 25, 1952. He preceded her in death in 2005. She lived in Copperas Cove and Temple before moving to Heidenheimer twenty five years ago. She was an accountant for 12 years for Mobil Chemical, having retired from there. She also worked for Blackland Grain and Storage in Heidenheimer. She was a member of Academy Band Boosters and was an active supporter of Little River Volunteer Fire Department.
