Beloved Buffalo Lady Passes at Eighty-Nine.

Mrs. Mollie Frazer Beaty, aged 89, prominent and beloved woman of Buffalo, passed away at her home near there Thursday afternoon at four o'clock following an illness caused by a stroke of paralysis about two weeks ago. She had been in ill health for sometime, but her condition did not prove serious until two weeks ago when she suffered a stroke.
The deceased was the widow of the late R. A. Beaty and had made her home near Buffalo throughout a long and useful life. She was up until her death probably the oldest member of the Lebanon Presbyterian church, being affiliated with that church about seventy years. Since the death of her husband, she had continued to live at the old home place with her children, all of whom survive her and are in middle age.
Surviving the deceased are five sons, W. F. Beaty, Calera, Ala.; J. A. Beaty, J. L. Beaty, R. A. Beaty and G. H. Beaty, all of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Slaughter, of Lanett, and Miss Sara Beaty, of Buffalo. She is also survived by a wealth of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held from the Lebanon Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 1, at 2 o'clock with Rev. F. H. McElroy, pastor of the deceased and Lebanon church being the officiating minister.
