Mrs. Ida Bell Bowser died at her residence at 130 Bluff street, West Kittanning, this morning at 7 a.m. Mrs. Bowser was seized with a severe chill on Saturday. Intestinal flu developed and she gradually grew worse until she passed away. She was aged 64 years. She is survived by her husband, William H. Bowser, and two sons, Wade B. Bowser of Brockton, Mass., and Raymond T. Bower, of Troy, N.Y.; five grandchildren; also one step-daughter, Mrs. E. R. Burns, of Ford City; three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Laura Bowser, Kittanning; Mrs. Carrie Gould, Kittanning; Mrs. Perry Oreen, LeGrand, Cal., Gilbert Claypool, Bert Claypool, and E. M. Claypool, all of North Buffalo. Mrs. Bowser was a faithful member of the First Baptist church of Kittanning and a member of the Nicholson Bible class. Funeral services will be held at the residence Friday, April 24, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Morgan will officiate. Interment will be made in the Union Baptist cemetery.
