C. Edward "Ed" Petro, 58, of Decatur died 1:25 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 16, 1996) in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.
Mr. Petro was born in Decatur, on April 8, 1938, son of Charles Arthur and Mildred Parnell Petro. Mr. Petro was a member of the teamsters and had worked for Midwest Fence and at the Decatur Township Office.
Surviving are his daughters, Diane and Mary Lynn, both of Taylorville; Pam of Kincaid; sisters, Lois and husband Richard of Stonington; Mary L. Miller and husband Ervin Sr. of San Jose; Jane and husband August and Charlene Dodson and husband Ronald, all of Decatur; brother, Gerald A. of Decatur; special friend, Sandra of Decatur; eight grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Petro.
