Mary E. Henninger, 93, of Arcanum, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Rest Haven, where she has resided since May of 2009. Miss Henninger was a former resident of rural Arcanum. Mary was born in Van Buren Township, Darke County on March 30, 1916, the daughter of the late George W. and Dillie May (Eller) Henninger. She was well known for being a twin of her sister Margaret and both dressed identically. Mary was known locally for hanging wall paper. She loved her soap operas. Miss Henninger was a lifetime member of the Abbottsville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Sherman and Vernon Henninger and 3 sisters Wealtha Townsend, Mildred Fourman, and Elsie Ludy.

Mary is survived by her twin sister Margaret Henninger; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends and neighbors.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Abbottsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 5 - 7 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home.
