Born in Adams County, he was the son of the late Milton E. and Mary E. Simpson Baublitz. He was retired from Benford's Furniture in Hanover, and served with the US Army in World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 14, Hanover, the Loyal Order of the Moose 227, Hanover and the AARP.
He is survived by his wife Lillian M Brown Baublitz, one sister, June Gass, Hanover, two brothers, Glenn Baublitz, Hanover and Charles E. Baublitz, Dover and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford with Rev. Bruce Brouchard officiating. Interment will be in Penn Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
