ERWIN – Peggy I. Wright, age 67, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at her home.
Peggy is the daughter of the late Will Bennett and the late Ethel Tolley Bennett.
Peggy was employed as a seamstress for more than twenty years at the former Industrial Garment. She then worked as a CNA in home health care. Peggy was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Irene Robinson; and a brother, James Bennett.
Peggy leaves behind: Her husband, Larry Wright; Two Daughters: Melena Madonna, husband, Todd, of West Chester, PA, Criste Seeley May, husband, Dan, Baltimore, MD; Four Sisters: Robbie Petre, Maryville, TN, Catherine Arenas, husband, Gilbert, Johnson City, Phyllis Masters, husband, Craig, Erwin TN, Priscilla Saylor, Erwin; Three Brothers: Denny Bennett, wife, Sue, Michigan, Ricky Bennett, wife, Melinda, Flag Pond, Kenneth Bennett, Maryville, TN; Two Step-sons: Eric Wright and Chris Wright, of Morristown, TN; Grandchildren: Andrew Madonna, Nicholas Madonna, Nathan Madonna, Griffin May and Ruby Lucille May; Step Grandchildren: Taylor Wright, Sierra Wright, Molley Wright and Alexis Wright.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, 540 Adams St, Erwin, TN, on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Reverend David Crutchfield and Todd Madonna will officiate. Pallbearers will be Larry Wright, Skip Seeley, Ricky Bennett, Denny Bennett, Craig Masters and Mark Galloway.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 1:00 P.M until service time at the Church.
Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation, 508 Princeton Road, Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
