Former Kenesaw resident Isabell E (Allen) Jacobitz, 85, of Fullerton died Sunday, Dec 7, 2003 at Litzenburg Memorial Hospital in Central City
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at St Paul Lutheran Church in Kenesaw with the Rev Paul Duffy officiating. Burial will be in St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Lowell. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noonThursday at Jackson Wilson Funeral Home in Kenesaw and one hour prior to services at the church.
Mrs Jacobitz was born Feb 16, 1918 to Clarence and Martha (Farris) Allen in Brown County. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1936. She workedfor Hoff Cleaners in Hastings and on Nov 23, 1946, she married Mervin L Jacobitz at the Lutheran Parsonage in Kenesaw. They lived in the Kenesaw area. Her husband died Jan 7, 1972. She moved to Fullerton in 1981.
She was a former member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Kenesaw.
Survivors are two daughters, Aletha Jacobitz of Hastings and Verdell Wondercheck of Fullerton; one son Allen of Kenesaw; three sisters, WaunetaAllen of North Platte, Dorothy Jones of Ainsworth and Evelyn Hill of Johnstown; one brother Gene of Ainsworth; 11 grandchildren; and six great grand-children.
She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
Memorial may be given to the family.
