Named after her aunt, Angeline Wasson. Contemporary historians have misidentified the spelling of this name as Watson.

UTAH PIONEER DEAD, AGED 86

Services Dated Saturday For Angelina (sic) Cole Kilburn

Angeline Cole Kilburn, aged 86, widow of Oziah S. Kilburn, died on Wednesday evening at six-thirty o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.M. Miksell (sic), at Porterville, after a long illness. She was born in Indiana on August 21, 1846, a daughter of Vera (sic) and Lydia Cole. She came to Porterville 42 years ago and previous to that had lived at Centerville and Salt Lake City. She came to Utah when a girl of fifteen with her parents as converts to the L.D.S. faith. Her husband died in 1900 (ic). Surviving are the following sons and daughters; William Platt, Burley, Ida.; Mrs. John Christensen, Maywood, Cal.; Oziah Kilburn, Eugene, Ore.; Fred Kilburn, Barnes, Wyo.; Hyrum Kilburn, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. W.D. (ic) Miksell (sic), Porterville; 49 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at twelve o'clock in the Porterville chapel with Bishop William Carter presiding. The body may be viewed at the home Friday and Saturday until hour of services. Interment in the Centerville cemetery under the direction of Lindquist & Sons.
