Mrs. Eva Clark, 88, formerly of Jacksonport, died Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She had resided in Sheboygan since 1959.
She was born Feb. 13, 1900 in Forestville to John and Josephine Mapes and was married to Sanford E. Clark in manitowoc Aug. 3, 1916. He died July 6, 1970.
Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Sheboygan, where services were held 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Thomas R. Jarrell officiated.
Burial took place 1 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Cemetery in Jacksonport.
Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Amelia Payne, Random Lake, four sons Clifford (Audrey) Clark, Tucson, AZ, Raymond (Edith) Clark, Sheboygan, Frank (Myrtle) Clark, Fish Creek, Gerald (Beverly) Clark, Franklin; one son-in-law George Majdacic, Sheboygan, 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her daughter Doris, one son Herbert, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, one brother and two stepdaughters.
A memorial fund has been established at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Ballhorn Chapels Funeral Home, Sheboygan, was in charge of arrangements."
