Rosaria (DiMarco) Hamilton, 84, of 102 Davis Road, East Hartford, wife of the late Robert M. Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (March 9, 2010) with her family by her bedside.


She was born July 29, 1925 in Stonington and was the daughter of the late Rosario and Josephine (DiMaggio) DiMarco.


She was employed by the former Veeder Root Co., retiring many years ago. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards with her friends. She was a member of the Hartford Bible Student Church.


She is survived by her four sisters, Mary Zavarella of Wethersfield, Isreale Cardone of Rocky Hill, Angeline Tuzza, and Benedetta Boccaccio, both of Hartford; her brother, Frank DiMarco of Manchester; her sister-in-law, Lena DiMarco; her longtime dear friend, Otillia Giansanti, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand-nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted family.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Chapel.
