Mrs Catherine E Davis, whose home was at Port Jefferson Station, died Sunday at the home of Mrs George Schryver, where she had been boarding. Mrs Davis was born at Wading River 83 years ago. Funeral services were held at the home of her only son, Chauncey Davis, at Mt Sinai, on Wednesday, at 2 o'clock, Rev F F Voorhees, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating and interment took place in Mt Sinai Cemetery. Besides her son, she leaves a grandson, Milton Davis, who is in France, engaged in reconstruction work for the government.
