Andrew Pella of 924 Seventh Avenue, Ford City, died at 9:15 o'clock Friday night , January 5, 1951, in the Armstrong County Hospital. He was aged 78 years, having been born November 28, 1872, a son of Andrew and Mary (Kacmarik) Pella. Mr. Pella was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh Plate Glass company. His wife Anna (Karnis) Pella, survives , with four sons, John of Ford City R.D. 2, Albert J. of Kelly Station, R.D. 2 and August A., of 1100 Seventh Avenue, and Emil E. of Ford City, R.D. 2; a daughter, Sister Christofora in Chicago, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Welch funeral home, Ford City, until Monday morning, when funeral will be held at 9 o'clock in Holy Trinity Catholic church. Rev. Fr. Janosec will officiate. Burial will be made in Holy Trinity cemetery.
