CHAMPAIGN - Albert Eugene Fuson, 68, of Champaign died at 11:34 a.m. Friday (Jan. 10, 2003) at ManorCare Health Services, Urbana.
Funeral services at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. The Rev. Brett H. Smith will officiate. Burial in Liberty Cemetery, Wakefield.
Mr. Fuson was born Dec. 12, 1934, in Ingraham, a son of Alvin A. and Blanche Douthit Fuson. He married Pamela Gillespie on Sept. 9, 1956, in Centralia. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul Fuson of Wheaton and Lincoln Fuson of Joliet; a daughter, Jennie Bear of Indianapolis; a brother, Harold Fuson of Peoria; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Fuson graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and graduated from the University of Hartford with an MBA. He was the manager of manufacturing and president of Quality Spring-Togo in Coldwater, Mich.
He was a member of University Baptist Church, Champaign, and he served as church and housing administrator for the Baptist Student Foundation at the UI.
He was also a member of the Baptist Men's Fellowship Bible Study for six years.
