Alvin A. Fuson, 84, of Peoria, formerly of Wakefield area, died at 1:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7,1984, at the High View Nursing Home in Peoria.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today (Monday) at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev. Steve Willis officiating.

Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation was from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Fuson was born Oct. 21,1900, in Richland County, a son of John A. and Jennie (Chesnut) Fuson. He married Blanche Douthit May 12, 1934, and she survives.

He was formerly an inspector at the Caterpillar Tractor Co. plant in Peoria.

Surviving besides his wife of Peoria, are two sons, Harold of Peoria and Albert of Colewater, Mich.; one brother, Merritt of Decatur; three sisters, Ina Combs of Olney, Maude Warren of Newton and Myra Nadler of Wakefield; ands even grandchildren.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
