Alvina A. Taylor 1890-1973

Mrs. Alvina A. Taylor, 83, of Bagley died at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital Bagley, Sunday December 2. She was born in North Dakota April 8, 1890 and her marriage to John Taylor took place May 13, 1908. They moved to Shevlin in 1919 and to Bagley in 1966.
Survivors include three sons, Thornton of Bagley, Therman of Minot, North Dakota, Truman of West Allis, Wisconsin; three daughters Mrs. Roy Gordon (Eveline), Bagley, Mrs. Bob Martinson (Joyce) of Inverness, California, Mrs. Don Ambuehl (Lois) Little Falls; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1951 and a duaghter.
Mrs. Taylor was a charter member of Clearwater Lutheran Church, Shevlin, a life member of the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School for 40 years. Since moving to Bagley seven years ago she has been attending Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley. She was also a member of Golden Age and Senior Citizens.
Funeral services were held at the Clearwater Lutheran Church in Shevlin Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Allan Skindlov officiated with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
