He immigrated with his wife, Ann Hunter and children to America in 1819 according to Naturalization papers. The names of their children were: James,Thomas, Richard,Jr.,John, a daughter..unknown name, Andrew, Wilson and William. His burial information came from Cemetery Records Of Mercer County Pennsylvania where it stated he was buried in Old Cemetery, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

My line comes down from Richard Law, Jr, (who may have died young) to his son, Richard Andrew Law b. 2 April 1832 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania and died in Edgerton, Williams County, Ohio. He said that he never knew much about his father. By about 1835-36 his mother had remarried in Mercer County and moved with her husband to Logan County, Ohio. He was just a young child at the time.
