Floyd was born the son of Roy and Stella (Bonham) Cole. He married Margaret Baird on June 21, 1941 in Detroit. Floyd served his country in the Navy during WWII. He retired from Total after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, restoring tractors and watching baseball.
Floyd is survived by three children, Karen Stephenson of Alma, Hugh Cole of Alma and Vaughn (Debbie) Cole of Alma, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Also a brother, Vern (Virginia) Cole of Alma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret in 1989, four brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service was held at Fulton Center Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dodge Funeral Home.
