Samuel and many of his siblings during their life time adopted the more modern version of their sir name; changing it from Weber to Weaver.
Samuel married Mary Kiser Stauffer about 1819. They named their children: Harriet, William, Anthony, Susanna, Sarah Ann, Samuel S and Ephraim S Weaver.
He moved his family from PA to Wayne Co., Ohio in 1836 along with his father and his brother John.
In 1855 he moved to Center Township, Williams Co., Ohio. The census of 1860 shows him still living in Center Township.

"WEAVER - April 30, 1877, at his residence 4 miles north-west of Bryan, Samuel Weaver, aged 82 years, 3 months and 25 days. Deceased was a native of Lancaster Co., PA; and became a resident of Williams Co., Ohio in 1855."
