Louis J Longrie,75,of 118 Smith St., Plymouth,died Monday Afternoon in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the past month.
Mr. Longrie was a barber in Plymouth for 40 years and also operated a radio repair shop.He was a former member of Plymouth citizens band.
Born May 17,1884 in Iron River,Mich,he was a son of louis and Anna Longrie,and attended schools in Lena,Wis.He married the former Anna Hinz on Sept 25,1912.
She survives,along with a daughter,Mrs Walter (June) Vollrath Jr. of Sheboygan;three grandchildren,four brothers,Jacob and Richard of
Green Bay,Fred of Plymouth,Arthur of Beaver Dam, and two sisters,Mrs. Leslie Whiting and Mrs. Rose Hanson both of Green Bay.Services will be held at 2pm Thursday at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth.Thr Rev. edward Ziegler,pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 3pm Wednesday.
