Fannie Adkins, 82, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Reynoldsburg.

She was born in Pike County, June 27, 1922, a daughter of the late James and Josephine Brewer.

She was retired, formerly employed by Swans Cleaners for 43 years, where she managed the Reynoldsburg stores for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield "Toddy" Adkins, who died Jan. 9, 2004; one son, Larry Adkins; one daughter, Sandra Adkins; and two sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Roger Greer of Pikeville; James Adkins of Martin, John Adkins of Reynoldsburg; two daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Kenneth) Buck of Reynoldsburg, Janice (Mrs. Norris) Salisbury of Warsaw, Ind.; two sisters, Creda Hatfield and Verna Courtney; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, in the J.W. Call & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Peggy Sword Cemetery, Island Creek. Arrangements are under direction of J.W. Call & Son Funeral Home of Pikeville.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
