Howard E. Pilgrim, 52, of Elberta, died at South Baldwin Hospital, February 5. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. February 7 from the Chapel of Higgins Mortuary, with Rev. George Kaulbach officiating. Burial was in Swift Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Good, John Good, Tony Scheer, Andy Jensen, Jim Dillon, Rube Keenan. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Pilgrim; three daughters, Mrs. Diane Boone, Elberta; Mrs. Susan Hoffman, Foley and Miss Nancy Pilgrim, Elberta; a son, Howard K. Pilgrim, Elberta; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Seibert, Elberta; Mrs. Mysie Rockstall, Foley; Mrs. Eileen Cole, Heflin; Mrs. Lillian Willis, Elberta and Mrs. Thelma Kaechele, Elberta; three brothers, Alan Pilgrim, Heflin; Joseph A. Pilgrim, Elberta and Kenneth Pilgrim, Elberta; five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Higgins Mortuary, Foley.
