FORSYTH - George Vernon O'Neal died Thursday, January 5, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11A.M., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Forsyth City Cemetery. Dr. Dan Whitaker and Dr. H. Darrell Watson will officiate.
Mr. O'Neal, the son of the late Charlie Urban and Vallie Dora O'Neal, was born June 13, 1920 in Forsyth, Georgia. He was retired from Forsyth Milk Haulers and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, having served during World War II, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. O'Neal attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Clyde O'Neal Bowdoin of Forsyth, several nieces and nephews.
