1933, August 20 (Sunday); Cumberland Times, p. 16:

"Mrs. C.T. Quintard

Miss Mamie Moore, 706 West John Street, Martinsburg, received word Thursday of the death of her sister, Mrs. C.T. Quintard, at her home in New York, Tuesday. Mrs. Quintard was formerly Miss Josie Moore, of Martinsburg, a daughter of the late Cyrus S. and Katie A. Moore. She was born in Hancock, Md., but went to Martinsburg with her parents when very young. She resided there until her marriage having made her house in New York alone. She was in her 54th year [actually, she was 64].

Surviving with her sister are two brothers, J. Howard Moore, of Shenandoah, Va., and C. Clifford Moore, of Camden, N.J.

Services and interment were in New York, Mrs. Quintard being buried by the side of her husband who died four years ago this month.

Mrs. Quintard was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Martinsburg."

"She was a tall, distinguished and well dressed lady. She is buried in New York City. Do not know which borough." - Howard Crouch.

Grave is unmarked.
