Schoonover (Lundgren), Eleanor Ruth Of Waukesha passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children and family on February 25, 2010, at the age of 81, after a brief struggle with cancer. Born in Bruce, WI, on March 1, 1928, to Axel and Alma Lundgren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harlan, in 2007; also 2 infant children, Milan and Cheryl, 2 grandchildren Jocelyn and Kela, and brother Glenn and sister Mayme. Loving mother of four children. Cherished by her grandchildren. She is further survived by her two sisters, and six brothers. Also two sisters-in-law, and many loving family and friends. Eleanor married Harlan Schoonover on January 24, 1947, and resided in Ogema, WI, until 1978 when they moved to Waukesha. She was employed at Boston Store, JCPenney, and Stan's Bootery, where she enjoyed interacting with people. Visitation, Sunday, February 28, at the funeral home 1:30-4:30PM. Service at 4:30PM with a luncheon to follow. Graveside services, Tuesday, 10:30AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
