Mrs. Charles C. Tuckey
BENDERSVILLE Mrs. Charles C. (Retta) Tuckey, 74 RD1 Gardners, died Saturday in Carlisle Hospital.
She lived in Bendersville most of her life and moved to Gardners in 1958. She had been ill for three months.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1966.
She was a daughter of the late Henry and Ella Noll Sowers.
Mrs. Tuckey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Tate and Mrs. Donald Taylor. RD1 Aspers; four sons. Cameron, RD2 Biglerville; Laverne, RD1 Gardners; Donald M., RD2 Gamers; and Sherrell G., Pinellas Park, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Clapsaddle, RD6 Gettysburg; a brother, Clay B. Sowers. Altoona; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 tomorrow at the Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville, with the Rev. Raymond D. Fravel officiating.
Burial will be in the Bendersville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
